SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 10 – George Adams is
charged with altering and
forging checks, as large as
$13,800 and as small as
$5.
On September 13 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a change
of plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Adams admitted altering the
checks, and the AUSA said it
had been into his account, or
an account in his name.
Judge Liman
permitted Adams to remove his
mask, so he could be seen, and
removed his own, briefing.
Judge Liman
accepted the plea and set
sentencing for January 6 at 2
pm.
The case is US v.
Adams, Jr. et al., 20-cr-607
(Liman)
