SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 26 – Rick's Cabaret has
been sued by dancers for not
paying minimum wage or
overtime.
On September 15,
2022, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Katharine Polk
Failla held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge
Failla reserved judgment -
then on September 16 another
motion was filed.
Three days later,
the defendant filed a motion
to strike, which Judge Failla
granted on September 19. The
document is gone: "not
available."
The case is Brown
et al v. Peregrine
Enterprises, Inc. dba Rick's
Cabaret New York et al.,
22-cv-1455 (Failla)
