SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 25 –
Marco Antonio Corrales-Patino,
a citizen of Ecuador working
construction in New York City,
sued Procida Construction
Corporation for his injuries
on their job site at 1912
First Avenue.
On August
24, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Edgardo Ramos
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
There was
take of a motion - Judge Ramos
said flatly it had little
change of success. He
nevertheless asked his
courtroom deputy to set a
schedule for the doom motion,
if filed.
Counsel
asked, if I decide not to
file, do I just let the
deadline go? Yes, was the
answer.
The case is
Corrales-Patino v. Procida
Construction Corp. et al.,
19-cv-5579 (Ramos)
