SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 4 – Kim Curtis sued Hilton
Worldwide Holdings Inc after
injuries sustained in the
Hilton Garden Inn at 237 West
54th Street on September 3,
2015.
On October
4, 2022, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Edgardo Ramos
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
In the
Hilton Garden Inn, the handle
to the bathroom door was
broken. Curtis complained but
it was not fixed. The next
morning the door
collapsed.
Judge Ramos
listened, then signed an order
referring the case to
Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn
for settlement talks.
The case is
Curtis v. Hilton Worldwide
Holdings Inc, et al.,
18-cv-3068 (Ramos / Netburn)
