SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 23 – Jalyn Oliver
has been the subject of
multiple complaints, in the
run up to his sentencing.
On July 23 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Andrew L. Carter held a
proceeding.
Amid requests to
remand Oliver, Judge Carter
agreed with defense lawyer
Jeremy Schneider that perhaps
the best move for now was to
remove the GPS and home
confinement requirements,
pending sentencing.
AUSA Frank
Balsamello complained that
Oliver has gone "missing" in
parks and elsewhere. But Judge
Carter said this record will
be taken into account at the
time of sentencing.
The case is US v.
Oliver, 18-cr-698 (Carter)
