SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 16 – EasyKnock, Inc. has
sued Knockaway Inc. seeking a
declaratory judgment that its
EasyKnock does not infringe on
the defendant's "Knock," in
which a home seller moves into
a new home while Knockaway
sells the prior
home.
On March
16, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Kevin N.
Fox held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Fox
asked why the parties wanted
so much time for discovery.
They answered that
intellectual property cases
are complex.
He set a next
conference for October 6.
The case is
EasyKnock, Inc. v. Knockaway
Inc., 20-cv-8491 (Carter /
Fox)
