SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 17 – Iris E. Castaneda
sued Marriott International
for discrimination,
represented by Marshall
Bellovin of Ballon, Stoll,
Bader and Nadler of 729
Seventh Avenue.
On January
15, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Gabriel
W. Gorenstein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Bellovin sent an
associate. Judge Gorenstein
asked how familiar he was with
the case - not much - and why
Bellovin was not
present.
A few
moments later Bellovin called
in. He said he had gotten his
COVID vaccination earlier in
the day and was have some side
effects. He was still on some
calls but it was touch and
go.
Judge Gorenstein
agreed to adjourn the
conference at plaintiff's
request, to January 18.
The case is
Castaneda v. Marriott
International, Inc. et al.,
19-cv-725 (Abrams /
Gorenstein)
