SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 9 – Pankaj Kumudchandra
Phadnis has sued Tata America
International Corporation, for
breach of contract(s).
But Tata
says he's got it all
wrong.
On December
9 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Phadnis
insisted that there is
jurisdiction, that this case
is in the right place. His
complaint cites Tata's
obligations to the ASPCA and
Salvation Army.
Tata poo-poos
him. Judge Parker
stayed discovery pending
another proceeding on March 8,
2021.
The case is
Phadnis v. Tata America
International Corporation,
20-cv-6657 (Caproni)
