SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 9 – Lisa Jones sued EIB
Riverdale Crossing LLC, which
owns a BJ's Wholesale Club in
The Bronx, for an injury
requiring shoulder
surgery.
On March
9, U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Ona T. Wang
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Wang
to her credit disclosed a
possible conflict of interest,
not only having had shoulder
surgery in the case medical
facility, but also having a
family connection there.
(Inner City Press is
voluntarily not publishing the
specific, though said in open
virtual court).
The parties will
research it and confer, while
also asking to dismiss one
defendant.
The case is Jones
v. EIB Riverdale Crossing LLC
et al., 20-cv-10264 (Wang)
