SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 13 – Alasana Jallow
sued 99 Cents and Up for
failing to pay not paying
overtime.
On January 13, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendants' lawyer said his
client could do with hearing
from another person about the
risks of going to trial and
not settling.
Judge Woods
provided for that attempt, but
also set the trial date as
November 28.
The case is
Jallow et al v. Big Empire
Inc. et al., 20-cv-5071
(Woods)
