SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 12 – An undercover law
enforcement agent made nine
purchases of nine guns from
Larry Farmer in Manhattan and
Brooklyn over the course of
more than a year, from April
2018 to May 2019.
These ranged from a Remington
.45 for $850 in Manhattan on
April 17, 2018 through
Springfield XD .40 caliber
pistol in Brooklyn on May 20,
2019, at which time Farmer was
arrested.
On
November 12, Farmer appeared
before Magistrate Judge
Katharine H. Parker of the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
to plead guilty. He got a plea
deal from the US Attorney's
Office, for a sentencing
guideline of 108 to 120
months.
He said he
had a GED and Judge Parker
congratulated him. He said he
was sorry and Judge Parker
said, "Your remorse is noted
for the record."
But
he does not yet have a
sentencing date, before Judge
Laura Taylor Swain. Judge
Parker a control date four
months out, on March 13. The
case is US v. Farmer,
19-cr-427 (Swain /
Parker).
