Nov 1 – Nakima Benjamin sued
Samsung C&T America, her
employer until March 20, 2020
for firing her because of her
gender and
race.
On November 1 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman asked about the
involvement of Samsung's
parent in Korea, noting
discovery difficulties.
He said fact
discovery is due by April 28,
2022 with a status conference
on June 22, 2022.
