Nov 21 –
Charles
Carter sued
the Sugar
Factory
Broadway LLC
and others for
an accident on
February 3,
2018.
On November
18, 2022, U.S.
District Court
for the
Southern
District of
New York Judge
Edgardo Ramos
held a
proceeding.
Inner City
Press covered
it.
The
defense lawyer
made much of a
confusion
between two
locations, one
described as
Down and Dirty
Tacos in the
Meatpacking
District.
Judge
Ramos
expressed
doubt about
the case going
forward.
But
he allowed
plaintiff to
amend by
December 9,
with
defendants'
motion to
dismiss due in
response.
The
case is Carter
v. Sugar
Factory
Broadway LLC
et al.,
