SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 20 – Jeff Park
stopped paying rent on a
commercial space on Bell
Boulevard in Queens.
On January
19, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
A
new lawyer appeared for Park,
and said he was busy with
filings due in the Second
Circuit Court of Appeals and
elsewhere.
Judge Woods
said pointedly he hoped this
wasn't just a gambit to gain
time, and used the word
"squatting."
He extended
Park's time to oppose summary
judgment until February 21.
The case is
Corona Group, LLC v. Park,
21-cv-2889 (Woods)
