SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 3 – Grevil Martinez and
other construction workers
sued JVA Industries and its
owner Joseph Alfano for
overtime
wages.
On November 3 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The case
is bogged down in discovery
disputes.
Judge Liman
ordered motions to compel, and
responses in one week. A next
conference was set for January
18.
The case is
Martinez et al v. JVA
Industries Inc. et al.,
20-cv-7977 (Liman)
