COURTHOUSE, Oct 14 –
Silver Entertainment was
supposed to operate a 301-room
Wyndham Hotel in Panama City
for 10 years.
Once Silver had
$547,000 overdue to Wyndham,
the latter terminated the
franchise agreement, then
sued.
On October
14 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge J. Paul Oetken held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
If there
is a trial, it is estimated to
be for only one day. Judge
Oetken inquired into
deposition(s) and set the next
pre-trial conference for
January 7, 2021.
The case
is Wyndham Hotel Group
International, Inc. v. Silver
Entertainment LLC et al.,
15-cv-7996 (Oetken)
