Ortiz Pleads Guilty To Bringing Drugs From Orlando to NY Now Sentencing March 10

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Nov 15 – Derek Ortiz Socias was charged in a narcotics conspiracy involving moving drugs from Florida to New York.

On November 15, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a change of plea proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Ortiz said he had brought drugs - he didn't know which kinds - from Orlando to Manhattan. Judge Liman accepted the plea and proposed for the sentencing February 18.

But there were conflicts with counsel's trials. So the sentencing will be on March 10 at 1 pm.

The case is  US v. Ortiz, 21-cr-173 (Liman)
