SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 1 – A pro se
litigant sued NYC's then-Mayor
Bill De Blasio (referring to
him by his father's name,
William Wilhelm, Jr.) and
seeking to overturn the City's
vaccination requirement for
entering or remaining in
certain
businesses.
On February 1, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltlt held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The City's
lawyer said vaccination status
is not a protected class and
asked for a schedule to move
to dismiss. Judge Koeltl set a
motion schedule including
April 3.
The case is
Ciccaglione v. New York City
Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene, 21-cv-7696
(Koeltl)
