In SDNY Mysterious Mag Court DeJesus Is Bailed Despite Gun With Siblings Not In Docket

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC The Times (UK) Honduras - The Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Nov 26 – Alexander DeJesus is the second defendant in an eight-defendant drug conspiration indictment in the  U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

On November 26 he was released on bond after a gun was found in the apartment in which he lives with his nine- and twelve-year old siblings.

But even four hours later, the PACER docket in the case did not contain any whisp of his arrest, or his release.

SDNY Magistrate Judge Robert W. Lehrburger said that DeJesus has rebutted the presumption and that his rap sheet is "mild... mostly marijuana." The gun, he emphasized, has been removed. That gun. The case is US v. DeJesus, 19-cr-821 (Wood / Lehrburger).
