SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 3 – Thomas Grant sued the
City of New York after being
arrested, falsely he said, by
the subway station the
Lexington Avenue and 110th
Street on August 17,
2019
On
February 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Koeltl asked if the plaintiff
had made a demand to the City.
Yes, the City's
lawyer answered, but due to
email problems - a hack - at
the City's Law Department, the
demand had been lost or
misplaced for a time.
Now there is a
discovery schedule with fact
discovery to August 10.
The case is Grant
v. City Of New York et al.,
21-cv-1376 (Koeltl)
