SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 25 – Keith Walcott was
driving on Edgewater Road in
The Bronx on February 14, 2020
when his car was hit by a
vehicle owned by Sutin, Inc.
and driven by Sunny Osuchukwu.
He sued, and it
seemed the case had settled
for $500,000 through
mediation.
On
December 22, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
parties said they were still
settling, blaming the delay on
Hallmark Insurance taking a
full month. Judge Liman said
he wouldn't just leave the
case on his docket.
He
dismissed it with the
possibility of re-opening with
in thirty days.
The case
is, or was, Walcott v. Sutin,
Inc. et al., 21-cv-5326
(Liman)
