Lawyer in SDNY Now Trial Date in October 2022

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 2 – Howard Adelglass is
charged with selling more than
one million oxycodone pills.
He wanted a free lawyer.
On March 2,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Kimba M. Wood held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Wood
said that Adelglass' CJA
lawyer's February 11 letter -
not in the docket - is not
detailed enough on finances.
The lawyer asked
to submit more things under
seal, or meet ex parte with
the judge.
Ultimately
Adelglass got his CJA lawyer,
and on December 13 appeared
again before Judge Wood, this
time to set a trial date. At
first it seemed like September
2022, but it is getting pushed
to October 2022.
