SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 16 – Joshua Steed
has been charged with gun and
drug
charges.
On
December 16, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Naomi Reice Buchward
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Steed
expressed concern that a
youthful offense was being
held against him, and that
things he wanted said to the
court weren't being said.
Judge Buchwald
said that it is competitive to
get on the Criminal Justice
Act panel, that they are
reviewed every two years and
that if even one judge has an
issue, the attorney might be
removed from the
panel.
Steed insisted he
had another against his
assigned counsel - who
proceeded to further advocate
for him.
Judge Buchwalk
committed to look into some
matters before the next
conference on January 26.
The case is
US v. Steed, 20-cr-567
(Buchwald)
