SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 19 – The Kingdom of
Belgium has filed lawsuit
against what it says are tax
fraudsters Genesha Industries
Pension Plan and FGC
Securities.
The complaint and
subpoena request, docketed in
the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York after hours on July 27
and found immediately by Inner
City Press which covers SDNY,
also names Jerome L'Hote, Adam
LaRosa, Stephen Wheeler.
It says
"the scheme took advantage of
a tax refund arrangement
between Belgium and the US.
Under Belgium law, Belgian
companies are required to
withhold a 25% tax on
dividends paid to their
shareholders... Defendants
LaRosa and L'Hote used a
scheme to mislead [Belgium]
into paying out dividend tax
refunds that were not
owed."
They say it
is related to a previously
filed case against Xiphias LLC
Pension Fund - and Stephen
Wheeler.
This case is
Kingdom of Belgium v. Ganesha
Industries Pension Plan, et
al., 21-cv-6407
