SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 27 – Jose Hernandez lives
in The Bronx, and has a C-5
spinal cord injury with
limited movement of his hands.
He wants to
vote, but wants privacy. He
has sued the NYS Board of
Elections, whose Absentee
Voter system requires the use
of a pen or marker.
On May 22
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
hearing in these. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Liman asked how fast he would
have to rule. With the primary
upcoming in May, fast was the
answer. He set a schedule and
