SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 14 – Asahi Kasei Pharma
Corporation sued Endo Ventures
Limited in a dispute over
vials of biologic
pharmaceutical collagenase
clostridium histolyticum - and
now, an expert will fly to
Hawaii amid COVID to be
deposed.
On December
14 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
At issue is where
and when Mr. Michisuji will be
deposed. He is apparently
willing to do it in Hawaii,
though it will then require 20
days including
quarantine.
Counsel
said things should be better
in terms of travel April.
Judge Netburn
said that might not be true,
and that Mr. Michisuji should
not have to travel twice.
The case is Asahi
Kasei Pharma Corporation v.
Endo Ventures Limited et al.,
19-cv-9060 (Schofield /
Netburn)
