SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 5 – Usually the alleged
Violations of Supervised
Release which result in
proceedings in the U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrates Court involved one
to four specification, at
least one of which will be
failure to report or refusal
to take a drug
test. But on
December 5 a defendant named
Pagan, no docket number given,
appeared to set a new record,
with no fewer than 18
specifications. These ranged
from alleged ingestion of PCP
and marijuana to petit larceny
and "forcible touching of
intimate
parts."
Pagan has a Federal Defender,
albeit represented by a
stand-in on December 5. He was
detained on consent, pending
appearing before SDNY Judge
Loretta A. Preska on December
10. Inner City Press will be
there - and should know the
docket number by then.
