March 11 – Portofino
Restaurant at 555 City Island
Avenue in The Bronx has been
sued for not paying overtime
or minimum
wage.
On March 11, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Woods
said depositions should be
completed by June 3, and
expert discovery by August 25.
The parties
estimate a three to four day
trial. Judge Woods set a next
telephone conference for
September 8.
