SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 3 – Everythng Limited sued
Avery Dennison Retail
Information Services LLC for
an injunction against
misappropriate trade secrets.
But even the complaint was
redacted.
On January
3, U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New
York Judge Lewis J.
Liman held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered
it.
Everythng
Limited - yes, there is no "i"
in Everythng - is a UK based
Internet of Things software
provider; it had an agree to
share with the defendant
information relating to its
[REDACTED]. See Complaint at
page 12 on.
Judge Liman said
too much has been redacted,
and asked for justifications
under Lugosch v. Pyramid
Company of Onondaga, 435
F.3d 110 (2d Cir. 2006).
Counsel tried,
but Judge Liman ordered a
number of things unredacted.
Hours later, nothing in the
docket, but it will be.
The case is
Evrythng Limited v. Avery
Dennison Retail Information
Services LLC et al.,
21-cv-4411 (Liman)
