SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 14 – Doreen Guevara sued
the NYC Human Resources
Administration for employment
discrimination.
On March 14, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
called in to cover it.
Judge
Woods asked who had called in;
Inner City Press identified
itself. Then HRA's lawyer
called in, then the plaintiff.
She had asked for
a reasonable accommodation
after heart surgery and was
not given one. Judge Woods
patiently explained how to
contact NYLAG.
The case is
Guevara v. NYC Human Resources
Administration et al.,
21-cv-9646 (Woods)
