RTS Solutionz Sued For FLSA Violations Now Admonitions on Discovery Delay Amid Verdict

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 28 – Faustino Pujols sued RTS Solutionz for violations of the wage and hour provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

On March 28, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Gregory H. Woods held a pre-trial conference. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Woods, whose US v. Spencer jury trial about the armed robbery of a Chanel story in Soho Inner City Press has also been covering, began some minutes late, telling the parties he had a jury out and might soon have to go. (He did).

The discussion was largely about the parties have ignored Judge Woods admonitions at the initial pre-trial conference, that the discovery deadlines were and are real and would only be extended for good cause.

Judge Woods said he was not hearing good cause. Then the Spencer jury came back (with a guilty verdict, story here).

This case is Pujols v. RTS Solutionz, Inc. et al., 20-cv-10373 (Woods)
