SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 10 – Glenn Carwell and
others are charged with the
armed robbery of a convenience
store on Rosewood Street in
The Bronx to steal
marijuana.
On January 12, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
The AUSA said
that one of the smart phones
at issue had been put in a
machine and "cracked" - the
contents extracted -- but that
another phone in the case had
yet to be cracked, its
software was too recent and
would have to await a new
patch or updated software back
to the authorities.
Judge Liman
set a next conference for
February 18, at which time he
said he will set a motion
schedule and pick a trial
date.
The case is
US v. Carwell, 20-cr-293
(Liman)
