SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 2 – RebelMarkets has been
sued for having an
inaccessible
website.
On May 2, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Gregory H.
Woods held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Woods
was told that while there is
more and more scrutiny on
these website ADA cases,
plaintiffs have yet to lose -
and a case of his own was
cited to him. He said that
case had not been about a
website.
He stayed asked
for an amendment in one case
and prepared for briefing on
the other.
This case is
Tavarez-Vargas v.
RebelsMarket, Inc.,
21-cv-10975 (Woods)
