SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 31 –
Cicilia Gilbert sued Dell for
being terminated after
informing the company she is
transgender and would be
pursuing gender
transition.
On March 30, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
There had
been a stay in place, but now
Judge Koeltl lifted it for the
purposes of considering
injunctive relief.
Reference was
made to a parallel
artibration. Judge Koeltl
directed the parties to
propose a briefing schedule by
April 4.
The case is
Gilbert v. Dell Technologies,
Inc., 19-cv-1938 (Koeltl)
