SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 13 – Maersk is suing Marie
Carew for $179,000 in a
shipping dispute.
On December
11, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John P. Cronan held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Carew, who
is based in Georgia, said she
"is assisted by Yinka Omole,
an attorney duly admitted to
practice in Georgia."
Judge Cronan
asked him about pro hac vice.
Meanwhile, it
looks like the case may be
heading to the Federal
Maritime Commission.
The case is
Maersk Line A/S v. Carew,
19-cv-4870 (Cronan)
