SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 19 – Raven Diaz was
employed as a carver at the
Marriott Hotel at 1535
Broadway in Manhattan since
April 10, 2017.
She was also
depressed and has sued under
the Americans with
Disabilities Act.
On May 19,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Kevin N. Fox
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Marriott's
lawyer said the hotel has been
closed by COVID so it has been
hard to get information.
Judge Fox has
extended discovery for a
month, to June 4.
The case is Diaz
v. Marriott International,
Inc., 19-cv-3865 (Nathan /
Fox)
