Media and Video In SDNY Case

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 20 – Hipolito Thomas was
sentenced in 2014 to time
served (426 days) for
distributing crack cocaine, a
felony.
On
September 12, 2020 there was a
shooting near 206 Willis
Avenue in The Bronx. Thomas
was arrested as a felon in
possession of ammunition. He
has been in the Essex County
Jail since.
On October 20
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge J. Paul Oetken held an
arraignment for Thomas. Inner
City Press covered
it.
The Assistant US
Attorney described discovery
as consisting of video, social
media, and an "attempted
post-arrest interview."
The next
conference was set for
December 17.
The case is US v.
Thomas, 20-cr-516 (Oetken)
