SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 7 – Dashawn McNeill and
Tayvon Brown, charged with
robberies of luxury handbag
stores, appears in court
together on June 7. Inner City
Press was there.
U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave
presided over the double
presentment.
The charged
robberies took place on May 5,
2022 on West Broadway in Soho
- its glass display cases were
smashed with hammers. Then the
complaint moves to Greene
Street and Spring
Street.
Brown, it emerged
at the presentment, is still
in high school.
Both were
released on $50,000 bond, with
the consent to the US
Attorney's Office, which did
not put out a press release.
The overall case,
also against Rashad Edwards,
is US v. McNeill, et al.,
