Sued KnockAway Now A Sealing Fight Before
A New Magistrate Judge

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 10 – EasyKnock, Inc. has
sued Knockaway Inc. seeking a
declaratory judgment that its
EasyKnock does not infringe on
the defendant's "Knock," in
which a home seller moves into
a new home while Knockaway
sells the prior
home.
On March
16, 2021U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York then Magistrate Judge
Kevin N. Fox held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Fox
asked why the parties wanted
so much time for discovery.
They answered that
intellectual property cases
are complex.
On March 10, 2022
the new Magistrate Judge
Jennifer E. Willis held a
proceeding in the case and
Inner City Press again covered
it. Judge Willis questioned
sealing, and heard argument.
She said she will have
something a few days.
