SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 29 – Jacqueline Fisher
sued Aetna Life
Insurance Company for not
paying for her prescribed
medication.
On May 26,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
The complaint
says, for example, that Aetna
wouldn't fully pay for EFEXOR
XR.
Judge
Woods says that Aetna's motion
to dismiss is due by June 22.
He also referred the case to
the assigned Magistrate Judge
Jennifer E. Willis for
settlement talks, on which she
followed up with an order on
May 27.
The case is
Fisher v. Aetna Life Insurance
Company, 15-cv-283 (Woods /
Willis)
