Sept 19 – John Nicholas
Iannuzzi sued the Nanshan
Memorial Medical Institute,
Beijing Lu Daopei Hospital and
Wenzhao Lu over a deal
involving private hospitals in
China.
On April 20, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Koeltl inquired then expressed
doubt that claims could be
pursued against the corporate
defendants, compliant with
Rule 11.
On June 1 Judge
Koeltl held another
conference, and Inner City
Press again covered it. Judge
Koeltl said the defendant's
motion to dismiss is due by
June 20, with response by July
8 and reply by July 19.
The fourth cause
of action was dismissed, but
the case continues.
On September 14
Judge Koeltl held another
conference, and Inner City
Press again covered it. Now
depositions are due by
December 30; dispositive
motions are ue by March 24,
2023 and the case is to be
trial ready by May 1.
