April 21 – John Nicholas
Iannuzzi sued the Nanshan
Memorial Medical Institute,
Beijing Lu Daopei Hospital and
Wenzhao Lu over a deal
involving private hospitals in
China.
On April 20, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Koeltl inquired then expressed
doubt that claims could be
pursued against the corporate
defendants, compliant with
Rule 11.
He ordered that
the plaintiff may file an
amended complaint by May 6 and
should consider dismissing all
defendants but Wenzhao Lu.
