SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 25 – Mary Vasta fell on
a sidewalk in Aruba, in front
of the Hilton Aruba Caribbean
Resort and Casino." She
sued.
On April 25, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
question of why the case is in
Federal Court, and even if so
in Manhattan and not the White
Plains courthouse, was raised.
Judge Koeltl
asked for a status report by
May 13 and stayed the case
until then.
The case is Vasta
v. Hilton Worldwide Holdings
Inc., et al., 22-cv-2993
(Koeltl)
