SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 20 – U.S.
Immigration and Customs
Enforcement has been sued
under FOIA for documents, for
use in connection with the
U.S. budget to be voted on in
September. ICE is
delaying.
On April
20, 2021, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate Judge
Stewart D. Aaron held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
In response
to a request they proceeding
3000 documents a month, ICE
responded that would require
reviewing many more records.
On COVID, it was
pointed out that many other
agencies have getting back
into the swing. Why not ICE?
The case is
Immigrant Defense Project v.
US Immigration and Customs
Enforcement, 20-cv-10660
