SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 28 – Mosha Farris on
behalf of his sole
proprietorship CEC Steel LLC
sued International Association
of Bridge, Structural,
Ornamental Reinforcing Steel
Local 11. He is not a
lawyer.
On
October 28 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Andrew L.
Carter held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The first
question was whether Farris
can represent a corporation.
He insisted it is a sole
proprietorship, an alter ego.
But it seems this will not
prevail, given the case law.
There is also a
question why the case is in
the SDNY. He has been directed
to address both by November
12.
The case is
Farris et al v. International
Association of Bridge,
Structural, Ornamental
Reinforcing Steel Local 11,
20-cv-1314 (Carter)
