SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 17 – Lawyer Richard
Liebowitz sued Barstool Sports
for its use of a photo of
Motley Crue.
That was before
Leibowitz was trashed by a
number of judges. On July 17
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Denise Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Cote
was formal and polite. The
defendant's lawyer asked if it
could be referred to the SDNY
Mediation Program.
No, Judge
Cote said, Mr. Liebowitz'
cases are no longer referred
there.
How about a
Magistrate, the defense lawyer
asked.
That may
happen.
