SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 24 – Frederick M.
Cargian, a 60 year old gay
man, sued his employer
Breitling USA, a seller of
Swiss watches, for
discrimination.
On February 24,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge George B. Daniels held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Cargian says the
discrimination and harassment
began under Thierry Prissert,
who preferred to promote Isaac
Schafrath, a star lacrosse
player in college whose
father, Dick Schafrath, was a
football player at Ohio State
and in the NFL.
The case bears watching.
It is Cargian v.
Breitling USA, Inc.,
15-cv-1084 (Daniels)
