SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 13 – Nespresso sued
Williams-Sonoma for selling
inferior coffee capsules. Now
there are discovery disputes.
Big ones.
On
January 13, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The day before,
Williams-Sonoma's lawyers at
Orrick acknowledged they had
forgotten to produce some
25,000 documents.
That's a whole
lot of coffee. There are
multiple requests to seal, and
other proceeding in February
for which issues are being
"teed up."
The case is
Nespresso USA, Inc. v.
Williams-Sonoma, Inc.,
19-cv-4223 (Preska / Parker)
