SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 19 – Jaime Rosario is
incarcerated on charged of
meth distribution. He is also
sick. In a redacted bail
application, he sought to be
released.
On July 19, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Loretta A. Preska held a bail
hearing. Inner City Press
covered it.
Rosario's
lawyer mentioned his diet, and
that is is less of a risk of
flight now. His application
says "Mr. Rosario could not
have known that he would
develop [REDACTED] when the
initial detention hearing took
place."
Judge
Preska listened, but declined
to release him. She did say
she will seek enhanced medical
treatment from the Bureau of
Prisons.
The case is US v.
Rosario, 19-cr-807 (Preska)
