March 2 – Harbor Bay Group
which sells packing supplies
on the MrShrinkWrap.com
website had been sued for
excluding visually impaired
people under the Americans
with Disabilities
Act.
On March 2, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Counsel
spoke before Judge Liman
joined, and agreed to a two
week extension to negotiate.
Then they told Judge Liman
about it.
He agreed, while
also naming a September 14
date.
